Simple elegance

This is the card I just made for the wedding we're going to this weekend. Quick and easy, but the best part is that I got to use the paper crafting tools I've been collecting lately. Like the Cuttlebug, which uses an embossing plate to create the blue background with the embossed flowers. And my 3" scallop punch. Scallops are totally trendy right now so I better get my usage out of it before they're out of style again. lol.

I must now look up the Cuttlebug (which I had never heard of) because the embossing fascinates me.

Me too! I'm finding out that I really appreciate the scrapbooking/cardmaking talent of others because I seem to be so devoid of ideas (not all ideas, but definitely those in that particular genre.) The more I see from you and Phin, the more I want to know.

Just lovely, but where the heck did those other floral punches come from, huh, huh?! I think I need the scalloped one...eek!

So very pretty. I love the idea of embossing! The texture and color choices work so well together.
