Funny Farm
I have lacked motivation/inspiration recently until Farmwife posted in her blog about needing a new flag that said "Welcome to the Funny Farm". The term conjured images of animals in classic comedy gags for me and the thought made me giggle so I put it to paper. And thus this image came about. I haven't been working on anything real crafty recently but the illustration of the mental image was a wonderful creative outlet.

By the way, where are the other 123 animals? Just Kidding, It would take a mighty big flag for the rest of them. The duck in the glasses is hilarious!

ohmygawsh!!! I LOVE that pig!!! His expression is PRICELESS!!! You could do a whole line of silk-screened hand towels, aprons, yard flags, etc...
why does the dog have an arrow thru its head???
You remember the goofy arrow thru head gags that you could get at spaghetti suppers and such. They were head bands kind of with an arrow on on side and the end on the other. An optical illusion of sorts. I thought they were hillarious as a kid. I was originally going to have the dog chasing the chicken with a rubber chicken, but thought that might be too morbid :)
Steve Martin used to wear a fake arrow through his head. It was his trade mark in early years.
So very fitting for the theme. Love the duck!
