MadRetz and I like encourage and inspire each other to do more art, so we dream up art challenges. Our most recent challenge was to create a mixed media piece using the quote: "Just when the caterpillar thought the world was over, it became a butterfly."

Oooh! Beautiful! the use of color and texture rocks on that! (I'm a big fan of red and black on negetive space... it's my thing) I'd totally frame that and hang it somewhere in my house.
And I love that the two of you challenge each other and now you are challenging us. I've never been just really good a mixed media.. but I'm always up for a challenge. What fun!

To me, mixed media means use whatever medium you feel most comfortable using! Do it, I *DARE* you!!! ; .)

I, too, love a challenge. It may be the week-end though before I can give it a try.
